Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17/10/2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect on webmediastreaming.com, why we use it and what your rights are. It complies with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13,709/2018).
1. Who is responsible for your data
The controller is WebMediaTreaming.com, with registered office at Brazil.
For any matter about your data, write to info@webmediatreaming.com, our channel with the data protection officer.
2. What data we collect
- When you contact us (form or WhatsApp): name, email, phone, country, the service you are interested in and your message.
- When you buy: name, email, phone, country, the items in your order, the payment method and the payment reference. We never receive or store your card details: they are processed directly by Stripe, PayPal or Mercado Pago.
- If you have an account (client or seller): your login details (the password is stored encrypted), invoices, payments, support tickets and, for sellers, city, public profile, prospects and commissions.
- When you visit the site: approximate country and city based on your IP address, device type, browser, referring page and the sections you view. The IP is only stored in hashed form and is not used to identify you.
3. Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To answer your questions and send you quotes (pre-contractual steps, art. 7, V).
- To process your order, provide the service, issue invoices and give you support (performance of a contract, art. 7, V).
- To meet tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation, art. 7, II).
- To prevent fraud, protect the platform and measure anonymously how the site is used in order to improve it (legitimate interest, art. 7, IX).
- To send you news or offers only if you agree (consent, art. 7, I). You can withdraw it at any time.
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data. We only share it with providers we need to operate:
- Payments: Stripe, PayPal and Mercado Pago, when you choose that method.
- Hosting and email: the provider hosting the website and email.
- Geolocation: ip-api.com, to know the approximate country of the visit.
- Internal alerts: when there is an order or a message, we receive a notification by email and WhatsApp (through a messaging service) with your name, contact details and a summary of the request.
- Fonts: Google Fonts, which receives the IP address when the page loads.
- Authorities, when required by law.
Some of these providers are located outside Brazil. In those cases the transfer is made with the safeguards of art. 33 of the LGPD.
5. Cookies and local storage
- Necessary: your account session, security, language, currency, shopping cart and the code of the seller who referred you. The site cannot work without them.
- First-party statistics: a random identifier to count visits anonymously. You can refuse them in the cookie notice («Necessary only») and the site works the same.
If we use third-party tools in the future (such as analytics or advertising), we will ask for your permission before enabling them.
6. How long we keep your data
- Enquiries without a purchase: up to 2 years from the last contact.
- Clients: for as long as the relationship lasts and then for the period required by tax law (generally 5 years).
- Visit statistics: up to 2 years, without data that identifies you.
7. Your rights
Under art. 18 of the LGPD you may request at any time: confirmation that we process your data, access, correction, anonymisation or deletion of unnecessary data, portability, information about who we share it with, and withdrawal of your consent. Write to info@webmediatreaming.com and we will reply within 15 days. You may also file a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
8. Security
We use an encrypted connection (HTTPS), encrypted passwords, restricted access to the admin panel and backups. No system is 100% infallible: if an incident occurs that may affect you, we will notify you and the ANPD.
9. Minors
Our services are intended for businesses and people over 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will publish the new version here with its date and, if the change is significant, we will let you know by email.
